Anne Hathaway & Bradley Cooper To Star In THE SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK From David O. Russell
It is being reported that David O. Russell’s next big project will likely be The Silver Linings Playbook, based on the novel of the same name.
Anne Hathaway has already signed on to star and Bradley Cooper is being considered for the male lead.
Matthew Quick wrote the novel about a former high school history teacher who gets out of a mental hospital and is placed in the care of his mother. His goal is to win back his ex wife. But he winds up in a romance with a kooky neighbor who also has mental problems. The only role that is left to be filled is the mother of Cooper’s character.
David O. Russell has a lot going on now with the Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and this. The Fighter is reported to be shaping up as of the best films of 2010. I am excited to see anything that Hathaway does and Cooper is always a good addition.
