Brad Pitt Confirmed For COGAN’S TRADE With Filming To Start In March In New Orleans!
Today it has been confirmed that Brad Pitt will star in Cogan’s Trade for director Andrew Dominik and that the film will begin shooting in New Orleans this March.
Casey Affleck, is also reported to have a part in the film. Dominik‘s last fim was The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford which starred both Pitt and Affleck. Trade is being adapted from the George V. Higgins novel about Jackie Cogan, “a professional enforcer who investigates a heist that takes place during a high stakes poker game under protection of the mob.”
According to Scene Louisina Cogan’s Trade will film entirely in the New Orleans area. Affleck has initially mentioend that this story was based in Boston, but the main action would take place somewhere else. It looks as though the action will take place in New Orleans.
In addition, the article mentioned a number of other cast names including, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Bill Murray, Mark Ruffalo, Sam Rockwell and Zoe Saldana. As of right now all of these actors are still rumors, so things could easily change.
