Danny Trejo Announces The Script for MACHETE KILLS Is Complete
Danny Trejo has announced that the script for the sequel Machete Kills has been completed!
During a recent trip down the red carpet Trejo was asked when the sequel would be written. He revealed that Robert Rodriguez is on top of it, “It’s written, so we can get started pretty quick.”
Trejo also talked about his happiness with the reception of Machete by saying,
“We went all over the world with that movie and people kept having me sign these Machete action figures, it was a lot of fun. I don’t even think Robert Rodriguez even expected that reception and now everyone is waiting for Machete 2 so hurry up Robert Rodriguez!”
After Machete Kills, there will be a third film called Machete Kills Again. I thoroughly enjoyed the first film and am interested in seeing the further adventures of the blade wielding Mexican ex-Federale. Hopefully, they will continue up the ante with a higher body count and more ass kicking!
