Here are the newest films added to the National Film Registry!
Every year the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress chooses 25 films to be preserved for their position as American cultural touchstones. The films honored this year included some awesome choices like, The Empire Strikes Back, The Exorcist, and the classic comedy Airplane. The list also includes several films from the 1970’s. This program was set up in 1989 and the Film Registry now has 550 films.
