Judi Dench Cast In Clint Eastwood’s J. EDGAR

It has just been announced that Judi Dench has been officially cast in Clint Eastwood‘s new film J. Edgar which is currently prepping to go into production. It is not known what role she is currently playing in the film.

Charlize Theron has yet to be officially attached to the film, but she in the running to join the film as Helen Gandy, a Justice Department file clerk who worked for Hoover as his personal secretary for more than 50 years.
Eastwood is directing the film from a script written by Dustin Lance Black. The film officially stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Hoover,  Armie Hammer as his assistant/closeted lover Clyde Tolson, and Damon Herriman as Bruno Hauptmann, the man convicted of kidnapping and killing the Lindbergh baby.
Filming is set to begin in the new year, and I’m looking forward to seeing what exactly Eastwood has planned for this.
