New Set Photos From THE MUPPETS Movie
Here are some release photo’s from the set of the new Muppet movie, The Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made. The photos give a good behind-the-scenes look at the film and capture the soul of these lovable characters.
Yesterday it was announced that Emily Blunt and Ricky Gervais have been cast in small cameo roles in the film. They now join the already large cameo cast of Alan Arkin, Jack Black, Billy Crystal, Zach Galifianakis, Donald Glover, Ed Helms, John Krasinski, Paul Rudd, Eric Stonestreet, Danny Trejo, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Lady Gaga.
The main cast members include Jason Segal, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, and Rashida Jones.
The film is loosely based on a original idea from Jim Henson called The Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever Made, where Gonzo is hired to direct a film, but winds up blowing his entire budget on the first day. From there, he’s forced to finish the picture without any money but with the help of his Muppet friends.
The Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made hits theaters in the U.S. on December 25th, 2011.
