Rumor: Demi Lovato Cast In THE AVENGERS?

Demi Lovato from Disney’s Sonny With a Chance and the Camp Rock movies is currently in rehab dealing with some emotional problems. It has also recently been reported that she has been cast in Joss Whedon‘s The Avengers.
It is not known at this time if this is even official or who she would play in the film. It is speculated that she may play some kind of superhero like Wasp, or one of the many non-mutant roles in the film.
According to Spinoff Online she will be reporting to the set on April 1st which is when The Avengers is scheduled to begin production.
I have never seen her in her show or films on Disney so I have no clue how she is as an actress. The shows that I have watched are worse than Saved By The Bell. What are your thoughts on the possibility of Lovato being cast in The Avengers?
