Sears & Kmart Join Forces On New Movie Download Service!

Sears and Kmart have teamed up to offer their customers a movie download service called Alphaline Entertainment.

Customers will be able to rent movies for $3.99 and  purchase them for $12.99.  This service is not only has the same price point as CinemaNow from Best Buy, it also uses Sonic’s RoxioNow platform for content delivery. Alphaline Entertainment’s service will only be available to customers in the U.S.
This service will be rolled out to customers using in multiple phases and will eventually be available from a variety of connected devices.  For more information about the service visit alphaline.roxionow.com.
If I have to get a new TV in the near future for the bedroom or office I will likely get one of the internet connected Vizio tv’s.  I can see a service like this working wonderfully on a TV or other product.
