Caesar: Rise of the Apes has been delayed!

THR is reporting that 20th Century Fox has moved the release date from June 24th 2011 to November 23rd. Thanksgiving weekend to be precise. This film hopefully will breathe new life into the Planet of the Apes franchise.
The film stars James FrancoJohn Lithgow, Freida Pinto, Brian Cox and Andy Serkis, and it’s being directed by Rupert Wyatt.
The film is Set in present day San Francisco, and it deals with the aftermath of man’s experiments with genetic engineering that lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy. A chimp named Caesar (Serkis) leads the uprising among the apes after having been raised by Lithgow and Franco’s father-and-son scientist characters
