Johnny Depp Talks About His Interest In A Fifth PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN Film
I am not that interested in the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean movie let alone the possibility of a 5th film. As expected, Disney is already discussing the possibility of a fifth Pirates of the Caribbean film. Well, they are and Johnny Depp is definitely up for reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow for a fifth time.
Depp recently did an interview with EW and here is what they report:
These days, Depp says he would be happy to play Captain Jack again, and that there have already been discussions about a fifth movie. “As long as we can put all the puzzle pieces together, I would most definitely consider it,” he says.
I will likely still see the fourth film, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and I hope that it will be entertaining enough to ignite my interest for more of the franchise.
In this next film, Captain Jack Sparrow crosses paths with the enigmatic Angelica (Penelope Cruz), but he’s not sure if it’s love—or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the legendary pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know whom to fear more: Blackbeard or Angelica, with whom he shares a mysterious past.
