New Co-host Announced For EBERT PRESENTS AT THE MOVIES

Roger Ebert‘s new show, Ebert Presents At the Movies, has announced  that Ignatiy Vishnevetsky will be the new co-host.

Vishnevetsky is a 24 year-old Chicago-based film critic who will replace Elvis Mitchell. No explanation was given as to why Mitchell will no longer be appearing alongside Ebert.
He writes for the Chicago Reader and blogs for the  film website Mubi. He joins 38 year-old Associate Press film critic Christy Lemire who also is a co-host on the show.
Since Ebert has lost his voice as a result of of his cancer surgeries, he will appear in a segment on the weekly show in which he communicates with a computer-generated voice.
The show premieres January 21st on WTTW, where Siskel and Ebert began 35 years ago. Ebert and his wife Chaz will co-produce the series from Chicago.
