Release date for THE BEAVER gets pushed back

The release date for the Jodi Foster and Mel Gibson film The Beaver has been pushed back from from March 28th to May 6th.

Synopsis:
An emotional story about a man on a journey to re-discover his family and re-start his life. Plagued by his own demons, Walter Black was once a successful toy executive and family man who now suffers from depression. No matter what he tries, Walter can’t seem to get himself back on track…until a beaver hand puppet enters his life.
The movie will premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival on March 16th. The reason for the change in the release date is so Foster will have more time to promote the film since she is shooting Roman Polanski‘s God of Carnage in Paris until mid-March.
I am a huge fan of Mel Gibson and this looks like it will be one of his best film’s to date. Check out the trailer HERE if you haven’t already.
