The Carrier is on tour now – shows with Comeback Kid, Title Fight, and more!

Blind To What Is Right, the new album from The Carrier, is their definitive work  – emoting with a goose-bump inducing fervor unlike any other band out there today.  Their brand of heavy yet melodic hardcore is the next chapter of evolution in thegenre. The band is embarking on a tour in support of their new album, Blind To What Is Right, today as they share the stage with Defeater tonight in Boston and head to Albany, NY shortly thereafter.  Shows on the east coast, midwest and Canada are planned with a myriad of bands like Comeback Kid, Title Fight, Ringworm and more – dates are below.

The Carrier ventures into new uncharted artistic territory on this new record, delving deeper and becoming more introspective than ever before. Through the low end roar of the unrelenting title track “Blind To What Is Right”, subtle glimmers of melody tear through an otherwise impenetrable wall of drop tuned sound. And that’s just the beginning. Themelancholy ebb and flow of “Hollow Pain” show The Carrier letting their guard down only to deliver a near perfect post hardcore anthem. While the infectious stomp of “A Stranger to Myself” slows things down as they collectively plummet into musical dissonance. Without question, Blind To What Is Right is The Carrier taking a welcomed step forward as the future kings of the hardcore genre. Hails & Horns called it “a phenomenal album” and the AV Club said the album is “heavy and bloody as a sleeping bag full of raw meat… a contender for my best-of-2011 list.”
