DEAD ISLAND logo gets censored for North American release.
The box art for Deep Silver’s upcoming North American release of Dead Island will be censored. The original art features a zombie being hung from a tree. The title screen for the game play will remain unchanged. Keep reading to compare the images and see the trailer embedded below!

There is no new news about the games adaptation into a film. Dead Island will be released on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC sometime in 2011. In case you have not seen it, here is the trailer below.
