Lemuria announces more tour dates after successful SXSW shows

Lemuria is excited to announce that they’ll head back out on the road in April alongside White Wives and Joyce Manor! Tour dates are below, and the band will cover the east coast and even hit Canada. Additionally, they’re scheduled for a highly-coveted set at Krazy Fest in Louisville, KY in May alongside Lucero, 7 Seconds, The Bouncing Souls and more. Keep reading for all the details!

The band just returned to their hometown of Buffalo, NY after playing a few showcases down at SXSW in Austin, TX last week. commented on Lemuria’s performance at the Mess With Texas showcase, saying the band “…sounded like a direct product of early-’90s Boston alt-rock, with their winsome riffing a generally pleasant reminder of Belly, Juliana Hatfield, or even Letters to Cleo…”. Lemuria’s drummer, Alex Kerns, said of the band’s first experience at SXSW, “It was great to play both extremes of shows at SXSW. The first night we played a bar show at Club 1808 with Ringworm, Magrudergrind and Touche Amore with a very intimate stage. All the bands were excellent. The wild part was the next day playing an outdoor tent show to a ridiculous amount of people with Screaming Females, Ted Leo, Dead Milkmen, OFF! and many others at the Mess With Texas showcase which was at the East Side Drive In. We saw so many bands nail it this weekend! We can’t wait to get back on the road for our spring touring.”
