The Static Jacks "Girl Parts" get remixed

We’ve long covered both the Static Jacks and Bodega Girls—lauding the first for being earnest pop-punk Jersey boys and the second for being mopey Boston soul incendiaries. So, we’re like proud uncles when presenting their offspring. This “Girl Parts” rework is over seven minutes of boxy, guitar-and drum-laden brew that sounds like all the good parts of an intro and outro without ever succumbing to a meddlesome middle. Evolved work, and a sweet preview for the Jacks’ current 7-inch and upcoming  full-length.

The Static Jacks are excited for their upcoming debut release If Your Young out August on Fearless Records/Fenway Recordings. Catch them on their current tour with White Denim, upcoming NYC dates with Mona in July, and at the inaugural Escape to NY festival in early August alongside headliners Patti Smith, BestCoast, and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros among others.  Keep your eyes and ears open as more info on the album will be headed your way soon!
