Watch Dexter’s Laboratory: Rude Removal
The legend of Dexter’s Laboratory’s missing episode reaches back to at least 2007. People claiming to have seen it spoke about it all over the place, people who didn’t claim to have seen it speculated and grasped at Cartoon Network to release it one day, just once. It’s hard to find a sub-8-minute cartoon from the mid-90’s with as much hype and mystery surrounding it as this one episode Cartoon Network wouldn’t air and didn’t have in its library, supposedly, according to rumor.
Adult Swim started talking about releasing it back in early December, starting a campaign on Twitter using hashtag #telljeff to tell some dude named Jeff to get off his lazy ass and upload the episode. Jeff finally heard the calls, and the network announced it would be out Tuesday afternoon.
