Emma Watson circling CINDERELLA Live-Action
Emma Watson may join Kenneth Branagh‘s live-action Cinderella movie. The Harry Potter actress has had a a slew of great roles since the end of the franchise. Variety reports that Cate Blanchett has signed on to play the wicked stepmother in the film. Simon Kinberg is producing the film whose original script was penned by Aline Brosh (The Devil Wears Prada). Since then Chris Weitz has done rewrites.
Watson will next be seen in Darren Aronofsky‘s Noah, Sofia Coppola‘s The Bling Ring and Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen‘s This is the End. I loved her in The Perks of Being A Wallflower, and would love to see her as the iconic Disney character. A deal is not yet official, but it is expected to be soon.
