Comic Con is like the world’s biggest theme park for nerds. Like any respectable theme park, you will be in lines. Lots of lines. For a very, very long time. If you want to see anything in Hall H during the Con, expect to be in line minimum five hours, if not overnight.
Having comfortable shoes is key to making it through your days with enough energy to make it into the nights (the best part of all). If you can, bring shoes that are worn into that nice middle ground of wear – not brand new and not yet falling apart. This way they’ll be able to tackle the miles you’re going to put on them and still give you the support you need.
If you don’t want to drain all of your batteries before you actually get into one of the convention halls, consider this novel idea: novel, analog entertainment. Things like books and card games like UNO, Cards Against Humanity, or even some playing cards, will help you pass the time without draining your batteries before any of the action begins.
I mean you could always make friends in line and have conversations with people, but why?
