I got the Indiana Jones 4K Collection just in time. My father-in-law arrived in town this week and we watched Raiders of the Lost Ark.

He then said that he didn’t want to watch the “one with the kids” because he didn’t like it. This sparked a conversation about this awesome saga. In what order would he rank the films.

As I mentioned above, he’s not a fan of Temple of Doom. Many people aren’t and that’s a travesty. He gave me his ranking:

  • The Last Crusade
  • Raiders of the Lost Ark
  • Temple of Doom

*Note: he did not include Crystal Skull because he does not believe the movie exists.

As crazy as it sounds, my rankings are in the exact order that they were released. I actually like Crystal Skull too. This film doesn’t get the love that it deserves.

Any Indiana Jones movie is a good Indiana Jones movie. The release of the Indiana Jones Collection 4K has me excited about the future of the franchise. I for one hope that Indy 5 gives Raiders a run for its money.

The following extras appear on the Blu-ray bonus disc, which is identical to the 2012 issue. See below for a breakdown of what’s included and please click here for full coverage.
