DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES Poster Shows San Francisco in Ruins
A new Dawn of the Planet of the Apes poster has arrived from 20th Century Fox. The new poster shows Caesar riding a horse with the Golden Gate bridge torn apart and San Francisco in ruins.
The Matt Reeves-directed film arrives in theaters on July 11. It stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smith-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, and Kirk Acevedo.
The trailers have me excited to see this sequel. It definitely has the chance to be a major summer blockbuster. I haven’t been blown away with much that has opened up yet, hopefully these damn dirty apes will do the trick.
Synopsis:
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
