First Look: Official Logo For THE LONE RANGER
Here is the new logo for the upcoming Disney film The Lone Ranger from producer Jerry Bruckheimer!
It is still not known who will star as the Long Ranger, but there will be plenty of star power on screen. Johnny Depp is set to star as Tonto, the Lone Ranger’s sidekick. George Clooney was rumored to be starring at one point, but there has not been any official word. Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean) has been hired to adapted the classic TV show film adaption for the big screen.
The Lone Ranger’s origin story begins with a group of Texas Rangers chasing down a gang of outlaws led by Butch Cavendish. The gang ambushes the Rangers, seemingly killing them all. One survivor is found, however, by an American Indian named Tonto, who nurses him back to health. The Ranger, donning a mask and riding a white stallion named Silver, teams up with Tonto to bring the unscrupulous gang and others of that ilk to justice.
