Frank Marshall To Produce ASSASSIN’S CREED
Frank Marshall is set to produce Assassin’s Creed for Ubisoft. THR reports that the veteran movie producer is helping to bring the video game adaptation to the big screen. Michael Fassbender is attached to star in the film, and is also a producer. Marshall has a long history of working with director Steven Spielberg, who also coincidentally turned down directing the Assassin’s Creed movie.
Marshall produced some of my favorite Spielberg-directed films, such as Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Hook, and The Color Purple. He also produced The Bourne movies, Sixth Sense, and Benjamin Button. His talents extend to Executive Producing as well. Back to the Future, The Goonies, and Gremlins were all exec produced by Marshall. His legacy of producing blockbusters will be tested once again with the in-development Jurassic Park IV.
Assassin’s Creed is set to open on May 22, 2015.
