Emmy Nominations: Adult Swim & Cartoon Network Get 9 Nominations Combined
This morning at just before 6 AM, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences had their annual announcement for the show that gives out the big chunk of copper, nickel, silver, and gold that is held in such high regard in the world of television. The Emmy Award, if you didn’t catch on.
This year, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim have gathered up 9 nominations in total, plus there’s one for Bob’s Burgers, and a few for Family Guy that I’ll include. Some of these shows have seen this honor before. Some haven’t. Some are extraordinarily deserved. Some are slightly less so. Check out the full list of nominees here, and watch the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards live Sunday September 22nd at 8 PM EST on CBS. Or, at least, just tune into it when these things are up for wins, and leave when their categories go by.
Congrats to everyone, and good luck.
