Johnny Depp is Impressive in the BLACK MASS Theatrical Trailer
The theatrical trailer for Black Mass has arrived and it is awesome. From the looks of the trailer Johnny Depp may have redeemed himself in the role of Whitey Bulger from some of his recent performances.
Directed by Scott Cooper, Black Mass also stars Joel Edgerton, Benedict Cumberbatch, Kevin Bacon, Dakota Johnson, Jesse Plemons, Corey Stoll, Rory Cochrane, Sienna Miller and Adam Scott.
Synopsis:
In 1970s South Boston, FBI Agent John Connolly (Edgerton) persuades Irish mobster James “Whitey” Bulger (Depp) to collaborate with the FBI and eliminate a common enemy: the Italian mob. The drama tells the true story of this unholy alliance, which spiraled out of control, allowing Whitey to evade law enforcement, consolidate power, and become one of the most ruthless and powerful gangsters in Boston history.
Black Mass arrives in theaters on September 18.
