THE PURGE: ANARCHY Movie Review
I survived so I could review The Purge: Anarchy for you. The follow-up to 2013’s The Purge is not what I would consider a sequel. It is more of a stand-alone film. I give The Purge: Anarchy 3.5 out of 5 stars. It is not a must-watch in theaters, but worth checking out if you are fan of the genre.
Written and directed by James DeMonaco, The Purge: Anarchy stars Frank Grillo, Michael K. Williams, Carmen Ejogo, Zach Gilford, Kiele Sanchez, and Keith Stanfield.
Frank Grillo is a bad ass in this, but then again he is in every film he stars. Grill could basically use this as his audition reel for a reboot of The Punisher. If you are a fan of Michael K. Williams, don’t go see this for him. He has very little screen time. Listen to my full audio review above.
