Gruff Rhys announces North American tour

Gruff Rhys, Super Furry Animals frontman has just announced his North American tour dates. His new solo album, Hotel Shampoo (read our review), is already out in Europe, and it arrives in North America May 3 on Wichita. He first has some shows in Europe and Japan and then moves on to North America. Welsh band Y Niwl is backing him up and opening. Keep reading for the full list of tour dates.
Rhys co-directed a film called Separado!, a road trip documentary that follows Rhys looking for relatives in South America. The film will screen at SXSW. Check out the trailer for that here, and watch the video for the Hotel Shampoo track “Sensations in the Dark” below.
