Growing up I loved the A-Team as much as was humanly possible. I mean come on, Mister T rocked and so did the A-Team van. I loved everything about the television show and was very happy to hear that they were turning it into a movie. This has to be one of my favorite films of the summer thus far. I loved the way that the movie kept my adrenaline rushing from start to finish. The action scenes were pretty darn cool and in perfect A-Team fashion they used non-traditional methods that seemed crazy at the time but always caused them to be a success and save the day.
The movie follows well in the footsteps of the television show thanks to Joe Carnahan and the wonderful job of casting. Liam Neeson is very well cast as Hannibal. I was worried that this movie did not have any Mister T but Quinton “Rampage” Jackson stole every scene he was in as B.A. Baracus. He may not be Mister T but he surely lived up to his honor with the great line delivery and the bad ass action sequences. When I heard the rumor that Bradley Cooper was going to play Lt. Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck I was very excited. He has a great ability for witty line delivery and his chemistry with the rest of the cast was great which allowed from great scenes where they played well off of each other. It was halfway through the film that I finally recognized Murdock as Sharlto Copley or Wikus from District 9. He was awesome as Murdock and I hope to see more of him because he is definitely a talented character actor. That is what the A-Team television series was, a bunch of great character actors coming together on screen and the same can be said for the movie.

I liked the fact that not all of the action scenes were not all shown in the trailers. My favorite scene had to be where B.A. has to capture the case and is quickly repelling down the side of building as he is being shot at by a bad guy. Just like the television series there are some great comedic moments as well. My favorite had to be seeing the Faceman in action in jail. His cell was pimped out to the max it looked like he was running the place and it was hilarious.
The Bottom Line: A great summer action film with cool characters that we I for one hope to see more of on screen in the future. Be prepared for fun lines delivered by a great cast as well as action from start to finish.
